Ok, after a few delays, one being my application and acceptance to graduate school, you can now (– finally!–) order your 125 Years of Castrating Bitches Shirt. This McBride rockin’ purple sample below is an actual shirt. This is exactly how they will look.
They are $18 with shipping.

The shirts are either organically made or ethically produced, depending on which color. Screen ink is white; it looks awesome. The sizing, in my opinion, is wonky, and I need more time to measure each size of each type. I will be rocking a sample at reunion.
When you pay via PayPal there is a section for notes in which you should put: selected lantern color or McBride-rockin-purple & your class year. I will email you a sizing sheet. If you do not hear from me in about a week- please email me! risagood_at_gmail_.com

Hey all- i just put up a Facebook fan page for the Bryn Mawr College “125 Years” shirts! Become a fan! Comment! Post your own pics from when you went to BMC! Post videos! Go buck wild!
***
The logo is currently black so I didn’t have to make mock-ups of all the lantern colors but don’t forget that shirts will be available in lantern colors unless all of a sudden, everyone wants black.
Check it out-

Do you like the font?

Now go upload photos to the Facebook fan page or comment when you get a chance!
Next: the PayPal order stuff goes up, an RSS feed for site updates, probably some more gin martinis for me, and photos of the final shirts in lantern colors on unwilling models, and probably some stuff on Twitter. I am trying to make it easy to order but I might have just made it a giant social media clusterfuck instead. Hard to tell.

Yep, this is the bloggy part of the site. I am now going to try and set up a way to pay with PayPal and Twitter. I heard you could send payments now via Twitter; today I am going to try and find out how to do that. The PayPal thing is way more involved as I have to make custom menus for the shirts with drop-down menus for sizing and prices and well, I don’t know how to do any of that yet and it’s not like i don’t have a million other things to do… I do know that shirt sizing will run from small (which is really small) to 2XL. I chose shirts that were either ethically produced or made from organic cotton. The colors are dark and rich, the fabrics are soft and they don’t have the high polyester count my 104 years shirt did. That shirt did not breathe AT ALL. one degree over 65 and you’d be schvitzing in it like mad.
In other news, I went for a walk Friday after work and it looked like this:

Leadbetter Beach, Santa Barbara
I thought a lot about my life , my work, & the kind of art I want to do but then all of me just gave way to walking. You know, doing one thing at a time. I am trying to get better at that.
OK, so if there is something else you want to see on this site- like more reissues of old BMC shirts, photo galleries, videos, more 125th year-themed product, let me know via the comments. Basically this site can become whatever others want to become- I don’t have an agenda other than raising some cash for your class year.
And then she said…
